PRIVATE RESIDENCE, VILA SANCHES, CAMPO DE OURIQUE

In this interior design project for a house in Campo de Ourique, one of the main challenges was the configuration of the living and dining areas. The living room had a narrow layout, making it difficult to integrate a sofa with balanced proportions.

The solution was the selection of an organically shaped sofa, which softened the geometry of the space. This was complemented by black panels that create a more intimate atmosphere and contrast elegantly with the existing concrete ceiling. The furniture chosen for both the living and dining areas follows a sophisticated language, reinforcing the contemporary character of the space.

Regarding lighting, although there were only a few ceiling light points available, it was essential to ensure balanced and comfortable illumination. For this reason, electrical track lighting was introduced, allowing for a better distribution of light and the creation of different ambient lighting points, contributing to a well-lit and welcoming space.

In the bedrooms, which are relatively compact, the focus was on ensuring comfort and storage without compromising the sense of space. Custom-designed furniture pieces were developed to optimise every available area and provide practical solutions that keep the spaces organised, comfortable and visually light.

The result is a balanced and welcoming home where every solution was carefully designed to respond to spatial limitations without compromising comfort or aesthetics.
